To add some weirdness, I really have had dreams like this.
I had a dream I was on some boardwalk, lit with white christmas lights.
I walked into an art gallery and everywhere was just pieces of meat...
this is horror in the purest sense: no actual threat to ones well being, no sudden revealation, just a passive diturbance, the feeling of something fundamentally wrong. The areas are brightly illuminated, the horror of what is hidden is revealed in surrealist detail and mans most diabolical inner workings are splayed and presented in the barest, most terrifically honest way. Definition is impossible because, visually, you have defined what is shapeless; horror without definition. This transcends art itself... Bravo.
I see this peice, in my photo class, researching horror artists to base my work off of, and as much as i hate the word base, this just stuns me. The word base implies i'm looking for an artist to copy, but not at all, this in fact, just stirs my spirit into finding a way to create a long lasting horrific image in my viewers mind. And i'm not saying your work is horrific, but if you seek to achieve horror with this peice, you've done it, i have never seen a sculpture achieve the message i see in these. Amazing. Amazing. Amazing.
